Overview

Need to access more advanced features or adjust your AfterShip Shipping plan to fit your business needs? You can easily upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time, whether you’re billed via AfterShip (Stripe) or Shopify.

Visit the AfterShip Pricing page to review all available plans before making changes.

Upgrade your plan (AfterShip Billing Users)

AfterShip billing users are the ones using Stripe for payment processing.

  1. Go to Billing in your AfterShip Shipping settings.
  • You can view your current plan, labels usage quota, and billing cycle details in the Current plan section.
  1. Select Upgrade now to open the comparison table of AfterShip Shipping plans.

In the above screenshot, the customer is on the Pro 2K Monthly plan. When they click Upgrade now, the AfterShip Shipping pricing comparison table opens with the next higher plan, Pro 3K Monthly, preselected. The customer can choose the preselected plan or increase the label quota within the same plan by dragging the slider on the label quota bar above the comparison table.
If the selected quota exceeds the supported limit for the current plan, the customer will be prompted to upgrade to a higher-tier plan, in this case, the Enterprise plan. Enterprise users must contact the AfterShip sales team to downgrade the plan.

  1. Based on the quota or features, choose the desired plan and click Choose {plan}.
  2. A confirmation window will appear showing the new plan details. Review the information, then click Upgrade plan to finalize the upgrade

Downgrade your plan (AfterShip Billing Users)

  1. Go to Billing in your AfterShip Shipping settings.
  • You can view your current plan, labels usage quota, and billing cycle details in the Current plan section.
  1. Click the (....) icon, then Downgrade to open the comparison table of AfterShip Shipping plans.

In the above screenshot, the customer is on the Pro 2K - Monthly plan.
When they click Downgrade, the AfterShip Shipping pricing comparison table opens with the next lower plan, Essentials 2K - Monthly, preselected. This plan has the same label quota but offers fewer features and carrier account connections. Since the customer is downgrading from the entry-level plan of the Pro tier, they must move to a lower-tier plan - Essentials 2K, with reduced functionality.
The customer can either proceed with the preselected plan or adjust the label quota by dragging the slider (radio button) on the label quota bar above the comparison table.

  1. Based on the quota or features, choose the desired plan and click Choose {plan}.
  2. A confirmation window will appear showing the new plan details. Review the information, then click Downgrade plan to finalize the upgrade.
