Pitney Bowes Developer Guide and API Credentials

This developer guide explains how to integrate the Pitney Bowes Shipping API with AfterShip Shipping, including how to obtain the required API credentials and set up your production shipper account.
Get Pitney Bowes API Credentials (Production)
To begin using the Pitney Bowes Shipping API in production, follow these steps:
- Sign up for a developer account with Pitney Bowes to access the Shipping API.
- Once your account is created, retrieve your Shipper ID, which uniquely identifies your Pitney Bowes shipping profile.
- In your AfterShip Shipping dashboard, add a new carrier account and select Pitney Bowes.
- Enter your Shipper ID and other required information to complete setup.
Required Pitney Bowes Label Server API Credentials
When integrating, ensure you have the following credential:
- Shipper ID: A unique identifier assigned by Pitney Bowes to your account.
